Here we are: the end of 2021! I think this year has flown by.

Anybody do bullet journalling? I've been trying it out this month, and I think it makes a little bit more sense than traditional planners. I might try to dive in for real at the new year.

Word Count: 55,030

Writing: Playing clean-up from November.

Finished my gen bingo. Did a storyworks 'Moon' fill.

Closed out my Whumptober fills; next year I'd like to do more, some of the prompts were very good, I just didn't have the time & energy to fill them.

Closed out 1 kinktober fic. Deleted 1 kinktober fic.

For December, the goal is to close out the last 2 kinktober fics (Wonder Bred and Glitter). Frankly, I haven't felt like writing a lot of intense porn the last few weeks, so I have to catch a mood swing and ride it.

I am planning to get some Christmas/winter prompts from alafaye's prompt list at newyearcntdown. Today's the last day to sign up if you're keen. I'm going to do the 'easy' level and aim to fill 8 of the prompts. The list is a good one, very comprehensive.

Reading: I haven't been listening to a lot of audiobooks lately. I can't seem to find anything on my two library systems online or on Youtube that interest me. I feel the lack of it, but don't really know that I can do anything about it.

Yes, usually after I make such a proclamation 'out loud' then a flood of things suddenly appears! So, an invitation to the universe, if you will! I've just noticed the lack lately. I've been listening to Spotify more. Playlists of sort of electronic/instrumental music.

I sort of bullet journal, though I'm finding I have trouble doing the rapid logging part at home -- I can pause at work and make notes about things I've done, but at home so much is going on that it's hard to remember.

I don't do any fancy spreads, just a list of the week's appointments, a list of things I want/need to do that week, and a section for daily logging.

Interesting! Yeah, I will definitely have to carve out time and make it habit for it to work best.

I like to look at the fancy spread on Youtube but yeah, I want a workhorse not a show pony.

I've tried bullet journalling! I really like the idea, but I find it hard to stick to it. I keep forgetting I'm supposed to be writing in the journal instead of on loose scraps of paper... I do like watching videos of other people's bullet journals on YouTube, though.

Cool! I, too, find the philosophy of it appealing. But, yeah, I mean it's definitely a new habit. I like the collection idea and I've found that trying to keep separate journals for ficcing or inspiration or whatever just doesn't work. I like everything in one but organized in a way that doesn't complicate things.

Yeah, I've been watching Claudia Kai's Youtube videos. I like her but I did have to smirk when she had a 'bucket list' like 24 things to do before she turns 24. Oh, my sweet summer child.

I kept a bullet journal for about six months a few years ago, and it was great. I really liked having everything (lists, etc) in one place. But as I am a fickle being, I got my head turned by a pretty traditional planner, and jumped ship. ;)

Ah, I guess I'm jumping the other way (from traditional to bullet). Yeah, I think one place will be better. I tend to spread stuff out and then not use any of it as much as I could.

On a tangent, I saw your boy went to Six Flags!! I thought I was constitutionally immune to cute but I found myself ALMOST going 'Aw.'
