Challenge #3
In your own space, put some favorite characters into an AU, fuse some favorite canons together, talk about your favorite AU/fusion tropes, or tell us why AU/fusions aren’t your cup of tea.
AUs are my life. I rarely write or read anything other than AUs.
The exception might be something like The Old Guard initially because I don't know much about the era in which Joe & Nicky would've met (1099 - Sacking of Jerusalem), and I might read historical canon-compliant fic to understand better, but after you've read about a dozen or so Joe/Nicky get-together fics, I'm good and moving on.
I've written everything:
Werewolves, vampires, ghosts, witches, women living as women, women living as men, men moving back and forth between genders, parrots, shapeshifters, mer-creatures, teapots, neighbors, artist/model, sentinel/guide, fairy tales, 1970's Ohio DJs, 1950's French chocolate shop owner & priest...and veering into the PWP realm...camboy/client, Omegaverse, dom/sub, stud/client, sex worker/client...on and on. All the tropes. Most of the kinks.
Sherlock Holmes is a clever detective. John Watson is a devoted sidekick. That's about all the remains.

Date: 2022-01-06 06:10 pm (UTC)Sherlock and John share a cupboard, 221B, in the kitchen of 221 Baker Street. And just because they're teapots, it doesn't mean they can't have cases...
It was inspired by these real life teapots (and cosy pot jumpers) Consulting Teapots.
I've written 2 of the 8 works in the series.
