Craft: Crepe Flowers

I get excited when a kit looks as good in the making as it does on the packaging, and this one falls into that category. I picked this up on sale after October (it's a Dia de los Muertos craft) but it works for Valentine's Day, too. Love the jewel tones, and I've got stems to make 6 more and probably extra crepe paper to be EXTRA CRAFTY!

I liked the colours, too. And it came with its own bottle of glue, which was unusually helpful for a kit. I enjoyed making them and was pleased all around with how it turned out.

Yes, sometimes the kits are underwhelming and the final product really isn't something that appeals, and then it's the making that counts.

Love crepe flowers! When I used to have scraps of crepe paper lying around, I would make roses out of them and attach to gifts instead of using bows.
