Sunshine Challenge #5: Orange Rose

There's a fine line between orange and coral, but I am very pleased with this one. The theme is sewing and orange roses and it might not be apparent from the image but some of the flower stickers are on little tiny 'peg' sticker to make them rise off the page and give a nice subtle 3D effect. Some are flat on the page but some are not and it looks real nice in real life. And there's some interesting questions, mainly about the lady with her face in the handkerchief--what's going on there???

Haha, good question! Hanky lady maybe sniffs her perfumed hanky?? Very clever, I should do this more often during my commute. -__-

Thanks. Could be sniffing but the posture looks a bit wrong. Maybe she's shrouding herself from the evil world.

Look at the edges. Your peg embellishments are casting shadows.

Since that looks like a historic illustration, my bet is to cut the smell. People used to put perfume on a handkerchief as protection against stenches.

You seriously have the coolest stickers. I've always had too much self-induced stress concerning stickers and making the "right" choice on where to stick them forever, so it's really fun to enjoy these without the stress of placing them myself. xD

Aw, thanks. Yes, I have a book of interesting stickers and I try to balance interesting and useful. I confess I have a problem with setting the stickers down 'straight' meaning horizontally so I fuss with them a lot before I put them down and re-adjust many times sometimes. I also force myself to use everything and not save it for later if it works with a theme. I don't know how long I'll be into this but it doesn't make sense to hoard.

Oh that's a good suggestion. It matches the angle of the towel and face.
