The boys and their father are watching the women's World Cup. I am very pleased that neither my sons nor their father consider women's soccer less than men's soccer. They genuinely watch with equal interest. It's nice.

It's hot! We went to the pool today.

I am going to be focusing on getting the boys prepped for school to start on the 28th. School supplies! Minisculus has graduated to needing POINTY scissors instead of blunt tips. *sob* My baby is growing up! He'll be in 3rd grade and Minor in 7th grade (so the middle of middle school--the horror!).

I liked third grade because my teacher used to play the Beatles' "Rocky Raccoon" a lot. But I ended up not learning the math skills I was supposed to.
