stonepicnicking_okapiToday is Vesak, the full moon in May (or Flower Moon) observed as the day of the Buddha's birth, enlightenment, and shedding of his body. So I did a collage with a photo from the ashram of the meditation center to which I belong. The words are from The Dhammapada, collection of sayings of the Buddha, translation Eknath Eawaran.
And for Thursday (which is Verse day or Poetry Day here in okapi-land):

Calm, activity—each has its use. At times
This worldly dust piles mountain-high.
Now the neighbor’s asleep, I chant a sutra.
