News & Views: more snow edition

stonepicnicking_okapi1. It's snowing again! We are supposed to get 3 to 6 inches tonight into tomorrow morning. I did the shopping today because I know I am not going out tomorrow. I have had the LAZIEST day that I can remember. I am having difficulty convincing myself to do anything besides my Miss Marple jigsaw puzzle and eating snacks. I think part of me is preparing to hibernate. Will my children ever have a full week of school? *shakes Magic 8 ball* signs point to NO!
2. The boys' father is sad and depressed and grumpy, which is to be expected. His birthday is Sunday and he doesn't want to celebrate it at all. We've already fought about this. The gift was already bought a while ago (thank yougaronne) and I got a frozen key lime pie (his favorite) today so it's happening.
