What a fun month! And a great stone to end on. I did not know about this, but knowing it's a newly discovered stone that only is found in the volcanoes of Indonesia is very cool. Here's a moodboard and a BBC Sherlock drabble.

1. Drabble, BBC Sherlock. Sherlock/John. Gen (the first 100 words, the rest is on AO3 and is rated Mature, reunion sex)
“And this is supposed to make up for four years of grief and nightmares?” asked John bitterly. He turned the yellow-and-black stone over in his palm.
“It’s called sunshine jasper or bumblebee jasper. Not actually jasper, though. It’s an agate. It’s found only near the volcanos of Indonesia. Only discovered in the last thirty years.”
“Indonesia, hm.
“The consensus is that it is so rare as to help to attempt the impossible.”
“The impossible. Like coming back from the dead?”
“And being forgiven.”
John finally looked up.
“I owe you a thousand apologies, John.”
“Yeah, you do,” John held up the stone, “and this is one.”

Date: 2022-07-26 06:51 pm (UTC)Thanks. So this is part of a ficlet collection of BBC Sherlock stories. They are all 500-words each, each stand alone, various parings and moresomes, mostly porn (some fluff, no angst), the titles are all taken from cocktails (or beverages), and I've been writing them since 2016 so there are 274 ficlets at the moment (yes, I know, it's a lot!). The one that opens with this drabble is called Sunshine Fizz. It's fairly typical so if you like it, you can wander around and look for others.

Thank you for all of your lovely contributions this year! I loved learning about the different poem forms, and the moodboards and collage were wonderful visuals.

Date: 2022-07-27 01:20 pm (UTC)Thanks. I wanted it to be like that (stand alone), the rest is reunion porn, so if you don't get to it, it's okay :)
